Communications
Bringing an outside-in perspective to developing proactive and reactive communications strategies, informed by 14 years at one of the world’s most elite communications agencies.
My Philosophy
My approach to communications draws inspiration from the Japanese business philosophy of Kaizen: continuous improvement through small, incremental changes; no wasted motion.
Refreshing a corporate comms strategy or executive visibility platform often gets sidelined in favor of day-to-day business operations. I can help your Corp Comms function gradually introduce changes that will be impactful in the near-term, while also laying a foundation for long-term efficiencies and growth.
Whether you’re seeking support on a one-off project, interested in ongoing counsel, or looking to backfill an open position, I’m here to help.
My Background
During my 14 years at Edelman, I worked with C-Suite leaders at global companies including Starbucks, Adobe, AMD, Shell, ServiceNow, Alaska Airlines and Boeing to develop best-in-class corporate communications programs, including executive visibility, crisis preparedness and response, story mining and narrative development.
I specialized in implementing a “quick wins” approach to demonstrate immediate ROI to executives, and then using that momentum to introduce more sophisticated processes and procedures that would set the company up for sustained high-quality results over the long-term.
